Ignite TV Feedback
I just received an offer for Ignite tv which would cost me the same as what I pay now for cable and internet. I currently have the 1 gig plan.
if it matters the tv is about 10 feet away from the modem.
So my question is can I get an honest as possible answer about the reliability and quality of Ignite tv.
Basically I want to know is it worth switching or not.

Broken cable line in house?
Wondering if someone can answer this question. I have two nextbox pvr’s in my house. The one in the basement is working fine, the one in my living room will not show any channels, but will show recorded content. It also brings up the full guide for the tv channels, but shows all the channels as being “unauthorized”. A tech was here today and told my husband the that line to the living room box is broken somewhere inside the house and that we might have to get an electrician to fish another line through.
How can it be showing the guide, if the cable line is broken? Wouldn’t the guide not show up if it didn’t have any signal?

Hello,
Iam getting an error 30112 : Sorry we are having trouble signing you in. Please try again.
I see TV when I sign into myRogers account under the Usage&services tab. The rep on the phone also confirmed with me that TV is linked to my profile.
Tried to access it on a Windows 10 computer, Windows 7 Computer, iPhone app, Android app, they all give same error code.
Browsers I tried are Microsoft Edge 44.17763.1.0, Google Chrome Version 75.0.3770.100

Auto-HD in Atlantic Canada
Here in New Brunswick we use the Next Box 2 PVR. I never have any luck in getting it to auto tune SD channels to available HD channels. Anyone got the answer to this problem?

Improved pic quality on Digital TV???
Hi all, I have Digital TV with a Nextbox 3. Picture quality has always been really good for the last few years, but in recent weeks, I’ve noticed a fairly substantial improvement across multiple channels. Colours pop more and resolution seems higher. Has Rogers started upconverting and broadcasting in 1080p?

Blocked channel - Disc Velocity
Hello forum - wonder if anyone is having the same issue as myself. Discovery Velocity channel is all of a sudden being blocked in my listings even though I'm supposed to have access to it in my cable package. I have called Rogers for assistance and have completed all the solutions they have suggested but still the channel is blocked. I keep receiving the 'contact your television provider to receiving access to this channel'. At this point, Rogers has said there is nothing they can do to fix it. Any suggestions....

how to contact rogers outdoor cable service?
Hi;
I'm trying to reach the rogers outdoor cable service people to discuss the replacement of my cable.
I have pattern concrete on my driveway and I don't want them to cut it. When I had the concrete done, I ran PVC pipe underneath it and when the cable was first installed it was ran through the pipe. I want to let them know that this is available and that there is no need to cut.
I've tried the 1800rogers1 number and 18006709607 but I cant seem to fined someone speak to, any assisance is greatly appreciated.

Mislabelled TCM Listings
Fairly often the listings for TCM, on Rogers, seem to be mislabelled in one way or another. Occasionally TCM Canada has different movies than the US channel, and though that change is reflected on their website, Rogers too often shows the listing for the US content. Other times Rogers will show the description for the wrong version of same-named movies even though the TCM website clearly displays the correct movies.
Last night a new one popped up on my screen. Let me know if you can spot the error.

Rogers 9865HD HD size: 1tb or 500gb: how to tell from exterior?
Apparently some 986HD pvrs are 500gb and others 1tb.
Is it easy to tell from something on the exterior as to what size it is ? Or perhaps after a certain manufacturing date ?

Program Code for TCL 65" TV?
I'm using the 4-button remote: CHAMPION PLUS URC2125B0-BB
I have the 65" TCL Model: 65S425 TV.
urcsupport.com gives me codes 2434 and 3183
I've tried everything, auto and manual code entry and can't get the remote to control the tv.
the thing is i follow the steps. here: https://www.urcsupport.com/urc_product/champion-plus-urc2125b0-bb/##setup
1. I press the mode button (tv)
2. I press and hold setup until tv blinks twice.
3. I begin to enter the 4 digit code.
But when I do this, it reverts back to cable and tries to change the channel. Even with the box off, the cable button lights up during number entry.
Any thoughts?

Why are there no FS1 college football games included on the Super Sports Pack?
Hello Everyone,
I am very curious about why the Super Sports Pack does not include college football games broadcast on Fox Sports 1 in the United States. Every week there is a major Big Ten Conference football game broadcast on FS1 and they are not available to watch on the Super Sports Pack or as a simulcast option on the Big Ten Network (which has been done in the past). I feel that this is a major oversight in the Super Sports Pack lineup.
I would love to know what the rationale is behind not including these games.

Commercials During On Demand Content
I don't know who did the cut ins for American Horror Story Season 2, but it is unwatchable. Not only are there far too many commercial breaks, but they cut in during the middle of a scene for one commercial, go back and finish the scene (about 10 seconds of the tv show) and then go back to commercials again.
Who is responsible for that and can you fix it?
I really want to watch the show, but you lose the whole thread of it and the mood.
